I read tribe at work (bad, I know), and I like the fact that I don't have to worry about logging out when I go home. But the time after which I get logged out, which I vaguely remember as being 1 hour, seems to be a lot less these days.
Is there an exact number?

Re: What is the idle-out time these days?
Fri, January 18, 2008 - 9:28 PMI have no idea - maybe it is a setting on your computer that is doing this ? -

Sat, January 19, 2008 - 3:37 AMThere is no setting on my computer that would just affect tribe.
The idle out for those who don't check "remember me on this computer" is a design decision. I'm just wondering how long it is. -

Re: What is the idle-out time these days?
Sat, January 19, 2008 - 8:56 PMIt seems to vary and may have something to do with when code changes are made or when server caches are flushed, etc. I think it sez somewhere that you will be logged out after x number of idle minutes but don't remember where I saw that. I think by 'idle' they mean posts not successfully submitted...which means at times that it may not be you making the system think you are idly logged in. -

Sun, January 20, 2008 - 2:56 AMActually, just reading tribes should work. Any clicking inside Tribe should work.
The question is "how long a period are we talking about?"
