everything worked until the long 'donut panic' last week.
now when i try to log in to my "spark*l" account, i am told that my email/password is invalid. when i attempted to change my password (forgot your password? feature), it informs me that my email does not belong to a registered user. funny, but my profile is still there, and it still looks like me, and i never changed my email address.
in order to read my tribes and to post my dilemma here, i've set up a secondary hotmail account and this "spark*l clone" tribe account. i've already sent three emails to help@tribe.net, with no response.
any thoughts on what else i can try?

Is there an original confirmation for joining tribe that you can check... I think that's all you can do... I would also search the Bugs Tribe

Sat, October 27, 2007 - 8:07 AMthanks for the links, bloke. it gave me a glimmer of hope for a moment. sadly, i can't even log in to my account to make changes (the first link's resolution), and it appears that my email is the issue, not the password (the second link's problem).

Mon, April 14, 2008 - 11:15 PMstill waiting. promises were made months ago to help me, but i'm just small potatoes, i guess. much too busy charging for premium members and adding lots of bells and whistles... if i could just access my stuff, i'd archive it with cut and paste, but i can't get in!!! plus, i'll lose all my friends list, my blogs, my friends' comments, and the writeups on my photos. this truly sucks. -

I've been trying to figure this one out -- I did some work on it last night. You're not the only person that this issue is affecting. I'll keep you updated, sorry this is taking me so long to figure out.

that was six months ago. i am very disheartened that i cannot access my photo album, my blogs with friends' comments, my friends list, and all my sent and received emails.
why can't this issue be resolved? it really sux. nobody seems to be there to help. -

Mon, October 13, 2008 - 10:14 AMinteresting occurance: when tribe had its data issues on oct 10 (11?) 2008, with many people lamenting about their blogs, friends, mail being lost from mid-june to october...
... i was *finally* able to log into my old 'spark*l' account! unbelievable. apparantly, mine is a corrupt database issue (best guess, anyways). -

Tue, October 14, 2008 - 9:55 AMone thing i noticed.. i could log in with my "OLD" password before.. then when the database was updated i had to go back to my "NEW" password. had you changed your password since June? -
