Is there any way to edit your posts? Is there also, in case of emergencies, any way to delete them?

You can ask the moderator of the tribe to delete the post.

Theoretically you cant edit a post. But - if you after submitting and before closing the window, if you hit "back" in your browser and go back to the edit screen, edit, and then hit "submit" your post will change... but once it has been up of a while or you close the window you submitted the post in - it is set in stone..

However - a mod can delete an individual post in a thread if you ask them via PM - but it is at their discretion to do so or to leave it..

it should be editable as long as you can get back to it with your back button and until someone responds to it.

you can also delete a thread if you start it.

Did you started the thread - you can delete it yourself .. If it is a post (and it sounds like it) within a thread I would forget about it.. In the past you might try to get a new mod appointed - but tribe.net does not seem to action that now...
