If you are going to go belly up and pull the plug on this web site, could you please give us some notice (maybe a week, at least) so we can get alternate contacts from the people we've met and the connections we've made? Please?

Re: For the powers that be at tribe (if any)
Sun, November 23, 2008 - 12:15 AMWe're not going belly up. We have new investors and new staff and we're actively putting a lot of work. You should have noticed already some changes, such as email notifications working again and far less downtime than recently.
There is a lot of work left to go. It won't be flawless and there will be problems. Things will break, but we will fix them and make them better.
Over the next couple of weeks a lot of annoying bugs will be fixed. -

Sun, November 23, 2008 - 7:05 AMTHANK YOU!
for fixin' it... (at least working on it!)
AND thank you for the response.
not being out in the dark, and knowing that someone is listening makes things a lot easier to tolerate.

Re: For the powers that be at tribe (if any)
Sun, November 23, 2008 - 7:14 AMWhen are you guys going to introduce yourselves, make some kind of statement on the tribe blog,- I mean, coming from YOU, The New Systems Associates? Just a quick intro would be nice.
i.e. How many on the team? how many work hours are being put in each week? how are finances?, how is the hardware?, are you a set team, or are you still adding more? where is best to contact you for what.. and finally, where can we voice our delight and relief, over the fact that you guys have stepped in to save tribe.net?
still many members are confused and clueless about what is going on. -

Re: For the powers that be at tribe (if any)
Tue, November 25, 2008 - 2:43 PMI'd like to know that too. I understand bigger fish to fry and all, but how long would it really take to make a web page with a quick who's who on the subject, or even simpler, a blog post?
